The Northwestern School of Law Trial Advocacy program has received a rating of fifth in the national by U.S. News and World Report. Tom Gardiner and John Wrona are adjunct faculty members who teach in this program.

John Wrona and Tom Gardiner obtained a $2.325 million settlement in a construction litigation case.

Tom Gardiner obtained a settlement for the family of a deceased resident in two separate nursing home negligence cases.

Tom Gardiner and Lynn Weisberg achieved a substantial settlement for two boys who were the victims of molestation by a public official.

Jim Koch and Lynn Weisberg served as "Principal for a Day" at Frazier Elementary School.

July 6, 2002 M-71 went to Stony Creek School in Alsip to pick up desks being given away and was admitted through the front door via a buzzer intercom system. Deft's employees had stripped and waxed the floor and left two flagpoles and a folded-up runner mat inside the door. Pltf went around the flagpoles but tripped on the mat (fractured right radius and ulna requiring open reduction, internal fixation and physical therapy, $56,000 medl. expense).
