Kenneth M. Battle has been practicing with full service and litigation firms for numerous years. He has established himself as a very strong litigator with significant experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, commercial and construction litigation. During his career Mr. Battle has participated in settlements and trials involving millions of dollars. He has represented clients ranging in size from individuals to Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Battle also handles other areas of litigation, including employment, products liability and real estate litigation. He is also a licensed real estate broker and member of the Chicago Association of Realtors.

Mr. Battle entered private practice after graduation from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he was a member of the Dean's List and received the Leadership Award for demonstrating exceptional leadership. He was also an active member of the Black Law Student Association and Student Bar Association. Prior to law school, Mr. Battle graduated from the University of Illinois, where he also participated in intercollegiate athletics.

  • In an incredibly busy November of 2008, obtained settlements in two automobile accidents totaling $850,000, and finalized successful settlement while a representing municipality in an employment discrimination claim.
  • In October of 2008, obtained 90% recovery on breach of contract claim for advertising company.
  • In February of 2008, represented condominium association and finalized negotiations on settlement of matter involving commercial plumbing performed on new construction.
  • In May of 2007, tried federal false imprisonment and nuisance case to verdict.  Successfully obtained verdict in client's favor on all claims and counterclaims.
  • Throughout 2007 settled numerous cases in injury, employment and business litigation, totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars. 
  • In 2006, settled lawsuit regarding property damage, with claims of $9 Million in damages, and successfully mediate wrongful death claims involving an explosion.

    In 2005, obtained summary judgment for client facing significant liability on issues relating to construction injuries, and negotiated settlement in cases involving personal injury.

    In 2003, tried and settled several business litigation cases, generating over $500,000 in recoveries.
