The firm was established in 1992, and is headed by Thomas Gardiner, James Koch, Lynn Weisberg, and John Wrona. While the partners have overlapping legal skills, they also have separate areas of special expertise. Tom is a skilled litigator with extensive experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death and products liability claims, as well as employment law and business litigation. Jim focuses largely on securities and commodities law, contracts, professional liability, and civil and criminal litigation. He has argued two cases before the U.S. Supreme Court and briefed a third case. Lynn is the head of the Family Law Department. With more than ten years of experience in divorce, custody, spousal support and visitation rights matters, she is frequently appointed by judges to represent the interest of children in contentious custody and visitation litigation. John Wrona focuses on medical malpractice, personal injury, and products liability.
Vincent Lavieri represents
condominium and homeowners associations, and handles general
real estate and commercial litigation.
Janet Randle has extensive trial
experience and focuses on business litigation for the firm.
Don Gardiner handles general
litigation matters for many south suburban clients.
John Graettinger handles bankruptcy and commercial litigation.
The increasing scope of our litigation has led to affiliations with
attorneys with offices outside of Chicago. In Naperville, Illinois,
we are affiliated with Susan Rogers; we use her office to serve
clients in DuPage County. Ms. Rogers provides financial expertise
as an estate planner, certified public accountant, and certified
financial planner. The firm of Oswald and Yap
provides Gardiner Koch Weisberg & Wrona with the ability to serve
clients with matters in California at its office in Irvine.
